One of the greatest cities in the state of Mississippi is about to bring an even better band to the stage. I hope you don’t have anything planned for March 17th because Casting Crowns is coming your way. The concert is being held at the BancorpSouth Arena in Tupelo and it will begin at 7:00. The concert is on a Friday night and you should go be a part of this special night. The ticket prices range from $59-$274, depending on where you decide to sit.

Casting Crowns is a contemporary Christian rock band started in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall, who serves as the band's lead vocalist, as part of a youth group at First Baptist Church in Downtown Daytona Beach, Florida. They later moved to Stockbridge, Georgia, and more members joined. Some members of the band currently work as ministers for Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia. The band has won a Grammy and a Dove Award.

This Band has celebrated several great achievements in their twenty-year period of being a band. One of their greatest achievements is exceeding career sales of ten million records. They have also received many nominations for music awards and won 20 of them. The American Music Awards are awarded for achievements in the American record industry. Casting Crowns has been nominated for six awards, winning four of them. The Billboard Board Music Awards tallies chart ratings, sales, touring, and radio airplays.
