BMC's President reveals current and future plans On Monday February 19, 2018, numerous high school students came to tour Blue Mountain College and were introduced to the school's academic and sports programs. On this Preview Day, as potential students were thinking about their plans for the future, I got to meet with Dr. McMillin to discuss the plans in store for BMC. Making Mats Matter
Koinonia Turns Plastic Bags into Mats for Homeless As the old saying goes, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This was certainly true for the girls who came to the bottom of the BSU on the fifteenth of February and helped to cut and tie plastic shopping bags into yarn. New Faculty Highlight: Sharon Meeks
BMC’s ever growing family welcomed a new professor to the education program last fall. Sharon Meeks is a graduate of Blue Mountain, where she majored in Elementary Education. She left Blue Mountain in 1983, and from there went on to have a long career teaching in a variety of elementary classes, including kindergarten, first, second, and sixth grade. Although she has been teaching thirty years, Ms. Meeks did not start out as an education major. She says that she started out i
